The Alisa Childers Podcast · #111 How to Survive College with Your Christian Faith Intact, with Michael Kruger

It's no secret that many colleges and universities can actively undermine the Christian beliefs of students. Some professors even admit that this is their goal. How can Christians students think critically about the ideas they will encounter when they go off to college? Dr. Michael Kruger joins me on the podcast to talk about how he survived college with his faith intact, despite having the famous skeptic Dr. Bart Ehrman as a professor.

Hi Alisa,
I Have just read Another Gospel....and it's so good to know that I'm not alone.
A few years ago I had to leave my Methodist church where I had been so happy for several years after moving to that area. The Pastor was more interested in making money from hiring out the small sanctuary than preaching the true Gospel. It came to a head with me and two others when he allowed his unbelieving daughter to teach yoga in the sanctuary. A friend wrote to me and said it was only a matter of opinion, however on reading this and asking Jesus if this was true and I was wrong, He said;" There is a beauty and innocence in truth which is un-alloyed with the world's opinions" Also in February 1998 The Lord gave me a word whilst out walking my dogs, He said; "You must be Holy for I am sending judgement on the Earth" At a Christian meeting that same evening, the Pastor gave the same message, received at the very same moment I had received it. Genesis 41;32 confirms this. Also, reading a book called "By Searching" by Isobel Kuhn, there is a poem at the front by John Oxley ; To every man there openeth a way and ways and a way, And the high soul climbs the high way, And the low soul gropes the low, And in between on the misty flats, the rest drift to and fro. But to every man there openeth a high way and a low, And every man shall chooseth the way his soul shall go. Isobel and her class on her first day at college was asked by the tutor "how many of you believe in God" and he told those who had put up their hands they only believed because their Mama and Papa had told them so. And so she started on her journey as you did. She married John Kuhn and became a missionary to China. God Bless you and your dear ones.

The Bible doesn't tell us anywhere to tolerate people. It tells us to love them. Sin is not tolerated and we are to be divided from it.
