My Weekly Top 5

Here are some of my favorite things this week. I encourage you to check out these links!

1. Last week, for the first time since 1555 (and probably hundreds of years before that), researchers were able to open the potential tomb of Jesus for 60 hours. Here's what they discovered!

2.  Because I simply can't get enough Peter Wiliams lectures, I'll share this one with you. This was his talk from 2011 on new evidence that the Gospels are actual eyewitness testimony.

3.  I always seem to hear skeptics bring up all the supposed "mistakes" in the Bible (which are most often differences in perspective that mark authentic eyewitness testimony.) With all of the accusations brought against the bible, we don't tend to hear how many things it gets right. Here are 41 specific historic details that Luke gets right in the book of Acts.

4. Last week, a prominent evangelical women's speaker and a respected Christian philosopher both publicly affirmed that their view of gay marriage has shifted. This response from Trevin Wax was very encouraging.

5.  I'm definitely saving the best for last! Rosaria Butterfield was a lesbian and a tenured professor of queer theory and English literature before she left that life behind to follow Jesus. She has a unique perspective on last week's events and if you only read one article this week, let it be this one.
